Misc. Photos ~

Before I post my final day in the Quincy area, I have some miscellaneous pictures that I wanted to share with you.

Candace and Wally also had two dogs to greet me.........the adorable and super friendly, Asta and Stevie.  Here's Candace with Stevie and below is Corallee, with Asta.

We do have some pretty spectacular sunsets here on Cedar Key.....but I have to say that Washington State can brag about their own sunsets!  And no, I did not PhotoShop these..........they were taken from the car and those were truly the breathtaking colors!

Imagine my surprise on Tuesday evening when I walked out into the back yard where we were staying and found it was a full moon.........yup, I do think all of the planets were in allignment concerning this incredible trip!

I've mentioned The Grainery, because that's where I had a speaking engagement and signing my second night in Quincy, but I don't feel that I did it justice...........so I got some photos outside and in that I wanted to share with you..........

And look at this really cozy corner, complete with wood burning stove.  Can't you just picture relaxing there with friends on a chilly morning or afternoon?

Another view and also one of their humongous cinnamon buns!  The photo really doesn't show how truly enormous they are!  I swear they're triple the size of a Cinnabon!  And yes, I did try about half of one and oh, wow!  They're as yummy as they look!  I also tried one of their scones and just as delicious.  AND all of their bakery products are baked fresh right there on site every day!

I signed a copy of one of my novels and left it there on their bookshelf for others to enjoy while visiting The Grainery.

And a huge thank you goes out to Harriett, the owner, for making me feel so welcome and so at home each time we stopped in there for coffee or lunch.  So I think you can tell, I very much enjoyed The Grainery!

Well, folks, parting is such sweet sorrow and all good things must come to an end............so join me tomorrow for the final installment on my trip to Washington State.  See you then..........
