Some Down Time & BBQ ~

As I had mentioned, on Wednesday evening we were invited to Pat and Ed Moore's home for a BBQ and I think all of us needed some chill time.  Before dinner, we all enjoyed some of that great Washington State wine, talked and socialized.

This is my incredible photographer, Harry, chatting with Mary.  And below is Alice, Candace and Pat.

Here's one of Pat's gorgeous cats and below that photo.......this was also kept as a "surprise" for me..........meet Jacelee.  Yes!  A black Scottish terrier!  Harry and Sandy are the owners of Jacelee and I don't think I need to tell how excited and happy I was to see a Scottie, because by now I was really getting homesick for MY Scottie, Duncan, and Brie.  Jacelee is 10 years old and what a sweetie she was!  So friendly and socialable.  Harry knew that I also had a Scottie, but kept it as a surprise that they had one and would be bringing her to Pat's home that evening.

And here's Ed (on left) and Wally, getting that grill fired up and Pat and Ed's very pretty yard.............

A huge thank you to Pat and Ed for opening your home to us for a delightful evening.  I really enjoyed the quality time spent getting to know all of you even better!

And the next day.....Thursday.......that was my final day in the Quincy area.  So join me here tomorrow when I'll share that with you..............
