Dirk was the winner of my Christmas in July contest at my fan page on Facebook, where it was announced yesterday.  Congrats to Dirk!

Although readers had to leave a comment telling me their favorite Christmas song, it was a random drawing...........and quite official.

I wrote out all the entrant names on paper to be put into a bowl so a winner could be drawn......

And hubby, Ray, drew out the winning name...............

OH.....and some of you had questioned what MY favorite Christmas song was.  It's Little Drummer Boy (I even mention it in my Christmas novella) but it's VERY closely followed by And So This Is Christmas by John Lennon from 1969 and unfortunately, his words are JUST as relevant today. 

Well, I'll be leaving tomorrow for the huge Romance Writers of America conference in Orlando.  Although it's utterly exhausting, I'm looking forward to it, as always.  I'll be meeting one-on-one with my editor and I also have a meeting with the CEO of Kensington and the Publicity Director.  I also love seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

I'll have my camera, my laptop, and my iPod.............so I'll be touching base with you from RWA.
