. . . THE BEST!  They really are and yes, I know that most authors probably say this.....but I want to give some recognition on this post because I truly feel MY fans are THEE best!

So a huge thank you to all of you that have emailed me with support, encouragement, feedback, compliments, etc.  I hope  you know how much it means to me.  Many of you have expressed surprise that I emailed you back.  Well, when SPINNING FORWARD was released, I made the decision that if I was ever fortunate enough to have fans and build a following and those fans took the time to let me know how much they loved my story........well, then, I would always take the time to email them a reply.  Sometimes I'm busier than other times and it might take awhile, but I always answer each and every email.

Two authors have always impressed me both as a woman and as a writer..........Fern Michaels and Barbara Taylor Bradford.  So when I sent them a personal email and also got a personal response, I was quite thrilled.  So I know how nice it feels to actually hear back from an author you like.

Yesterday I received a lovely letter and a photo via snail mail from a fan that I met this past April at the RT Convention in Columbus.  Fran and I had exchanged a couple emails after meeting and she actually was one of the winners for the raffle I had at the convention.

It really meant a lot to me that this fan took the time to write the letter and send this along.

So for all you fans out there, even the ones who haven't gotten in touch, but bought my book, follow my career and enjoy my writing.............thank you so very much!  As I've said many times......an author might pen the stories, but it's the fans and their support that keeps this author going and makes me want to keep creating new stories for their reading pleasure.
