Yes . . . after two fun-filled, exciting, but extremely busy weeks--today is the first day that I can actually take in a deep breath and briefly smell the flowers.

And aren't the flowers just gorgeous?  They arrived a few days before my book launch and were sent from my publicist, the Nancy Berland Agency.

When I opened the front door to the florist, I could hardly believe my eyes!  And the fragrance--it filled my writers studio for days.  Notice the various shades of pink.....done purposely to coordinate with my book cover.

My friends Alice, her husband Barry and Val arrived here on Wednesday and that's when the celebration began and continued for almost a week!  On Friday Brian, Veronique, my friend Bill, my publicist Jeanne and webmaster Cissy had arrived and everyone gathered here Friday evening for drinks, dinner, lots of talking and laughter.

And......will ya look at the stunning posters that my publicist had done for me to use at book events and signings!  Okay.......I admit it........when I saw those, I truly did feel pretty special.  But if I thought I felt special Friday evening, that was nothing to what I felt on Saturday at the book launch.  So many friends came . . . some driving two or three hours, just for the day to attend the launch.  Lemme tell ya..........I certainly felt extremely loved and blessed.
