Works In Progress

You might remember a few months ago I showed you the pattern for the dusty rose cashmere scarf I'm making for myself and also the gray sweater jacket.  Here's where I've gotten so far.  What with being chairperson for that writing contest and then getting ready for our trip, I haven't had a whole lot of time for knitting.  But I still try to squeeze in as much as possible.

The cream colored piece will be a scarf for my daughter.  It's cashmere and silk and I think she'll like it.  Especially this winter in the Boston area.

So these are the projects I'll be taking with me to France.  I'll be knitting on the flight over and then a week from today we'll be on the TGV for a 4 hour train ride from Paris to Montpellier in the south of France.  So this will keep me busy.

See you here next time............

Beautiful! I love the colors. Wish I had the patience to do something like that. I use to needlepoint but haven't done anything like that since the boys were born. Oh, time to get back into it. Now just to find the time :-) Will they let you bring knitting needles on the plane? Things have gotten out of hand with some of the restrictions.

The dusty rose is gorgeous. I'm sure the cream-color feels like heaven in the fingers. What a great thing to do while you're riding the train through the French countryside. (This post is an uplifting break in the doom and gloom of the public discourse. - Thanks.)

Perfect things to take with you, Terri! I bet you get a lot done on your flights and on the Train Trip, too! I know you are counting the Hours till "Departure". And I don't blame you, my dear.

I'm sorry about the Mercury Retrograde "problem"...And I know you cannot stay in bed....lol....But if "communication" sucks for the next couple of weeks...just smile and say,....'Oh I know what it is....it is Mercury going backwards....'
I know you are going to have a FANTASTIC time, Terri....!
