I think it was a pretty good Father's Day here at our house and I hope it was at yours too. We started the morning by having a mid-morning breakfast at Dock Street Station downtown. And here's the great view we saw while eating. This is our City Dock....unfortunately, we've not been able to use it for fishing for at least 3 years, since damage from one of the hurricanes. Supposedly it's in the works for the county to repair it.

And as you'll see below a few dad's took advantage of their special day to get some fishing in from Dock Street.

After breakfast, we headed to Chiefland to purchase a new tv for the family room. Even though we have 4 tv's in the house, we're really not excessive tv addicts. Our primary evening place to watch is the tv room where we have a 20 inch....in cooler weather we eat dinner on our screened porch and have a 13 inch out there to catch the news. I have a 13 inch out here in my studio for when I want to watch my soaps and knit in the afternoon and then we have the larger one in the family room. It's that one that decided to go to tv heaven. So we got a 32 inch Sanyo today and here it is and a view of some of the new tile in the family room.

That was our day here on the island and I hope you enjoyed yours. See you tomorrow.......
