Upside Down House

Yup, it seems like my house has been upside down since I returned home from Mass. a week ago today. I can't believe the entire week has flown by and I don't seem to have accomplished very much. I hate not accomplishing anything. It drives me nuts. I feel unproductive. These are the things that I'd hoped to get done:
Entire house put back together, including all that china and crystal back in the hutch and curio cabinet.
My checkbook balanced
My aunt's checkbook balanced
Resuming work on my current manuscript
Catching up on snail mail
Catching up on emails
Catching up on blog reading
Fixing my wireless problem that I had in hotels while gone
Typing letter to Manager at Holiday Inn for goofing up our reservation
Watching the Netflix movie that's been sitting here since before we left on trip
Watering all the plants, flowers and trees
Purchasing new TV for family room, which broke before we left on trip
Resuming my daily morning walks with Holly
These are the things which have actually gotten done:
Caught up on snail mail
Kinda, sorta, caught up on emails
Kinda, sorta, caught up on reading blogs
After a SOLID week of being on the phone with Dell (my desktop manufacturer) HP/Compaq (my laptop manufacturer) Bellsouth (my Internet provider) Linksys (my wireless router) HOORAY....as of 7:00 last night....the laptop is back up, running, on the Internet with the wireless connection AND my mail system is working on there. I've spoken to all of the above people MORE this week than I've spoken to my husband! But.....success reigns!
Alberto took care of the watering for me (Thanks, Al) but since we've had no rain since Tuesday, I'll have to get out there this evening
And my plans for today will involve getting the house back in order. They finished the tile completely yesterday! There IS a God!
Holly and I resumed our daily walk this morning....both of us enjoyed it a LOT

That is a very upside down house, Terri. But lovely none-the-less. I'm sure now that you've been back a week you'll get cracking on those chores in a big way. It's always an adjustment when you change locations.
Congrats on getting the laptop back to running. Troubleshooting is so often frustrating!
