Kudos To Customer Service

Okay, those of you that know me really well and even some of you readers might know I detest the hassle that most Customer Service gives me.  They're normally rude and truly don't care in the least about the product I'm inquiring about.  It's paid for.....out of their hands.  Well, I've had a recent experience that's given me a change of heart....at least for one company!

I'd ordered some Christmas scarves for Holly and Duncan....they have to look festive too, you know.  I shopped as I usually do....on the Internet.  Easy, can see what I'm getting and pretty fast delivery right to my door. (Living on an island does have it's shopping limitations, but as you can see, I quickly found the solution.....but I digress) I found a company called Designer Duds for Dogs out of Washington state.  They had the cutest scarves and I ordered one for Holly and Duncan.  And then I kind of forgot about it...I always keep the confirmation emails because if it gets to being too long and I haven't received my purchase, I either call or email them to question it.  But it had only been a couple weeks and this IS a very busy time of year for shipping.  The package arrived the other day.  Here's the scarves.......aren't they adorable?  And don't ya just love those little lights on Duncan's?

But it wasn't only the scarves in the package.  Nope.  Here's a hand-written note from the company.

Can you believe it?  Well, I sure couldn't!  Not only an honest-to-goodness-hand-written note BUT some gifts as well?  It's been ages since I've experienced THIS kind of customer service, lemme tell ya.  And I hadn't even started thinking the package was "late" yet.  Here's what got sent....

A plaid, soft, wooly, blanket and matching bone pillow.....which Holly promptly took ownership of and loves it.  (and yes, that's her fur already on it) And an adorable stuffed Christmas tree.....which Duncan claimed as his.  I have to admit there was one other stuffed toy also, a really cute stuffed Christmas package.  And I'm ashamed to say Duncan the Terror has already managed to rip it and pull out ALL the stuffing....but he's still having a ball tossing it in the air.

Well, needless to say I was quite overwhelmed with the service this company gives it's customers.  If you're looking for some really cute gifts for your pooch or one you know, do pay Designer Duds for Dogs a visit.  I don't think you'll be sorry.  And how nice this happened during the holiday season......it sure restores my faith in humanity a little bit.

See you tomorrow......

Well that is incredible...TRULY! It is nice to know there is that much "care" from a company. Do you think it is because it is a small company? (I am just assuming it is a small company...And that could be totally wrong...) I love that they not only took the time to write a personal note but sent presents, too! I had to laugh when you said that one had been destroyed--happily so-- very quickly! Fun!
