I've decided to designate Wednesday's as "Kitty Tale Wednesday."  Updates, photos, etc.  So here's Marcel (head honcho cat in our house)  He's our 6 yr. old Maine Coon and has been a computer kitty since we first got him as a kitten.  He loves to be in here with me when I'm working on the computer.  Poor Marcel was at the vet on Monday because he developed an ulcer on the roof of his mouth....nothing serious, thank God.  After just losing Angus 3 weeks ago, I can't do "serious" again right now.  So Marcel is on an antibiotic and already feeling much better.  He's a real laid-back cat.  Not too much stresses him out, not even the new kittens....he just pretty much ignores them.  For those of you not familiar with the Maine Coon breed....they're much larger than most cats, they think they're dogs or children and they have very sweet personalities. 

On to Miss Holly and the kittens.  Ralph and Foster saw the vet last week and got a clean bill of health.  They return Dec. 14 for their final shots.  They're doing just great here and as you can see, Holly is still playing "mama" to them....possibly she always will.  She puts her paw on them to keep them in place so she can wash them.  They must love it because they just lay there and soak up all the attention.  The kittens sure do delight us with all their humorous antics.  They love being outside in the screened area watching the birds in the Chinaberry tree.  And I love to see them pounce on anything that moves.  They're such good kitties and sleep all night....sometimes with me and sometimes in their bed, but always together.  I'm so glad we took both of them, because two is no more trouble than one.
